Well, I’m the Loch Ness Monster,
and I’m angry as can be!
‘Cause all these crazy scientists
are chasing after me!
Some say that I’m a serpent
or a dragon fierce and mean,
such rumors make me mad,
I’m only swimming in the sea!
(Well, actually it’s Scotland’s lake)
Some say I’m just a giant snake
I’ll leave them splashing in my wake!
Why won’t they leave me be?
With radar planes and sonar blips
and nets as big as battleships
I’m telling you, this is the pits!
They’re always after me.
I’m glad it’s dark and murky,
for there’s more of us than me,
we all are happy creatures, but—
we’re camera-shy, you see.
We’re not ferocious in the least,
this monster needs a little peace
I’m just a prehistoric beast!
out swimming in the sea.
